Submission Instructions

  • Please submit only one piece with a maximum of 5,000 words. If submitting flash pieces with less than 1000 words, you may submit two individual flash pieces in a single, accessible document. Clearly state the title at the beginning of the piece(s), or as “Untitled.” We prefer Google Docs for submission.

  • You may submit up to six pieces of any kind, not to exceed 10 pages of work, in a single document. Each poem should begin on a new page and have a clearly indicated title or as “Untitled”. We prefer Google Docs for submission.

  • Please submit with a maximum of 5,000 words. If this is a complete play, please indicate that at the beginning. Clearly define the title name, or put “Untitled.” We prefer Google Docs for submission.

  • Please submit each visual art piece for consideration (painting, photography, sculpture, sketch, multimedia work, etc.) as an individual JPEG file in the highest possible resolution, indicating your medium and materials for each in the description box of this form. Please note that if the resolution of the JPEG is too low, we will be unable to include the image in the magazine.

  • Artistic works that fall into a different category may still be submitted. Films, audio files, and performances can be included in the magazine via QR code. For audio files, please submit as an MP3. For musical works, please upload an MP3 version of your recording along with a PDF or Google Doc of the written accompaniment. All contributors submitting to this category must provide a description of their work (medium, materials, genre, etc.) in the description box below. * Please note that while we will do our best to work with artists to include the pieces we would like to accept, this is an experimental category, and not all media will be eligible.
